Overland Park, KS- November 17, 2000–Baker &
Associates announced the completion of the acquisition of Allcomm, Inc. by Baker
& Associates client SBA Communications Corp. Based in Denver, CO, Allcomm, Inc.
is a builder of turnkey wireless communications sites. Established in 1994 by
Ken Starbuck and Doug Warshel, the company now operates out of a leased space
located in Lakewood, CO. Allcomm, Inc. currently has 25 employees with 20
working in the field and 5 as office staff.
Allcomm’s gross revenues for 1999 were $3.5 million. The majority of this
revenue (70%) was generated by the new construction of various types of towers,
which not only include standard self-supporting towers, but also include
monopoles, treetop towers, church steeple towers, and clock towers. Commenting
on the acquisition, Jerry Baker, Jerry Baker & Associates, Inc. president and
founder said, "We were very pleased to have been able to assist in the
negotiation and closing of this transaction. All the parties were equally happy
with the deal."
